(Please note that a car-boot sale will be taking place within the grounds of the church on this date, but parking spaces can be found in the doctor’s surgery car park opposite the main gates.)
The AGM will comprise of annual reports, the election (or re-election) of office bearers, and should take about 20 minutes. It will be followed thereafter by a RIG business meeting.

2-4 P.M.: Wallneuk North Church: Bollywood-style music and dancing from "The Kams" band, singing and poetry.

Our next sharing meeting will take place on Thursday, November 1st, at 7.30 p.m., at Methodist Central Hall, 2 Gauze Street, Paisley, PA1 1EP.
The theme for the evening will be "Violence Against Women" with short talks from local expert speakers, followed by discussion. More information to follow.

Description: To conclude Scottish Interfaith Week, the Wallneuk North Church is holding an Interfaith Service on Sunday 19th of November at 11am. People of all faiths and none are invited to attend this event, after which there will be free refreshments in the church hall and halal lunch at the La Rambla Restaurant behind the church. There will be opportunities to recite poetry, express your feelings in simple words or by singing a sweet song after the lunch.
For the lunch at La Rambla, please book your table for £8 and confirm your attendance in advance for catering purposes.

Description: Lasting approximately an hour, our procession will begin at the Rowantree Café, Barshaw Park, before moving on by candlelight to the beautiful Walled Peace Garden. The event will involve representatives from the various faith traditions within our community, with short reflections given on the theme of “peace”. There will be music and song, and a chance afterwards to socialise with refreshments back at the Rowantree. All are most welcome to attend this free event.

Location: St Mirin’s Cathedral Hall, Cathedral Precincts, Incle Street, Paisley, PA1 1HR
Description: Developed with writer Angela Orr and members of our local PACE Youth Theatre, this free event will provide a challenging and thought-provoking exploration of some of the issues experienced by young people within our community concerning race, culture, religion, and hate crime. The performance will last approximately 15 minutes and will be followed by an interactive session between the participants and audience. Refreshments will be provided.

Renfrewshire Interfaith Group will be joining with Friends of Barshaw Park and other local groups and volunteers to help tidy Barshaw Park’s walled Peace Garden. Why not join us, whether for the whole morning or simply half an hour?
No one needs prior experience of gardening – simply a willingness to help. Participants do not need to bring their own tools, although any that can be provided will be gratefully received.
